WHY BA INTERNET?
Today’s internet can reduce people to users, knowledge to content and relationships to interactions.The internet does not have to reduce people to users or knowledge to content.
BA Internet meets people not as sources of clicks and data, but as human beings who intend, decide, work and carry responsibility. It does more than circulate information: it keeps the source, context, limits and purpose visible.
What are we trying to correct online?
A person is not a profile. A model does not carry judgement. Data is not ownerless raw material.
BA Internet does not reject today’s tools. It seeks to correct a settlement that reduces people to behavioural signals, treats model output as a final decision and separates data from the people and rights it concerns.

Invisible decisions
The internet is more than cables and pages; it also shapes what we see and how we act.
Ranking, recommendation, data collection and automation all involve choices. BA Internet asks who made those choices, why they were made and how they affect people. It treats data as an amanah and keeps models from taking the place of human judgement.
The promise of open representation
Digital work should explain not only what it does, but where its limits lie.
A piece of content, dataset, model, agent or application should state its sources and purpose, what it can and cannot do, and who retains the final decision. The paths for reporting error, making corrections, withdrawing a release and carrying maintenance remain visible after publication.
If the source, limits, human decision and path of correction are not visible, the work is not ready.
Limits and created nature
Not everything we can digitise can be reduced to data.
SIDRA reminds us that knowledge, models and intervention have limits. MA reminds us that a person, family, body, child, community or living world is more than what can be measured.

Responsibility before release
Not every piece of work should be published immediately.
Content and tools are examined in proportion to their risk: sources, created nature, privacy, child safety, human oversight, SEDD and IHSAN all matter. Error reports and the path of correction remain open after release.
